My name is Skyler. I am a 29 year old (Gemini) FtM (Female to Male transsexual - I really hate that word, but to be clinical about it, I guess it has to be used!). That means I was born female bodied but have always felt like a guy inside. I have been on the life changing journey of making my body come in line with my mind for about 2 years now. I have been on Testosterone since March 1999 and completed my top surgery in September 1999. I have never been happier in my life!
I definately need to thank my parents and family for their continued support in my transition. I would have to say I am very lucky to have a wonderful family like I do. And also, I am very lucky to have friends from my past who are also supportive.
I have done a lot in my lifetime already and plan on doing even more now that my body is in line with my mind. I have one college degree, just finished my second and will be heading for my BA here shortly. I have been a long-haul truck driver, been in the U.S. Army, and travelled to a few different places around the world.
I plan on continuing my life in an adventurous manner and also hope that one day I can share that adventure with someone special. |
